the Myrrh’s scent was stronger than I remembered, however it does the job I got it for, the frankincense scent was a little off as well, but my skin is smooth. I use it as a message for my diabetic feet and they look terrific. I add a couple of drops to my shampoo for headache relief, and at night I rub it on my chest for a good night sleep. I mix a few drops in lotion, Vick’s vapor rub, cuticle oil, or wherever the need. It just serves my purpose.

This is a lovely oil duo ! I think it would make a wonderful gift for an oil loving friend . Or for a bible enthusiast for the Christmas season . There is a very popular diffuser blend using Frankincense , Myrrh and orange essential oils to represent the gifts from the Wise Men to the Christ Child . If you do this I recommend using DT Wild orange or a good Blood orange . On it’s own , I think Myrrh smells like burnt sugar . No one I have met yet agrees ! (LOL) I love the sharp smell of Frankincense . I also absolutely love the myrid of afflictions Frankincense can be helpful for ! It is great in my would care salve and wonderful for headaches . A couple drops added to my homemade body wash to help keep my skin healthy . In the diffuser I find it very complementary to any of the wood type oils , cedar wood , cypress , fir , balsam …. and also with the calming , sleepy oils like lavender and chamomile and bergamot , Ho Wood . I do not use orange in night blends it makes me have very vivid dreams and I don’t get a restful nights sleep. I did receive a discount to purchase these fantastic oils to review them . I like them and trust that they are very good quality . You will not be disappointed with these . Side by side with the MLM brand it passes or surpasses on aroma , feel , and effect !

This is the first time that I purchased Frankincense and Myrrh. I like that it comes as a set because they go together well. Upon opening them they both have a very mild pleasant scent, not overwhelming. I don’t have any other brands in these oils so I can’t compare them. The Frankincense is more on the liquid side and the Myrrh is thick and a little harder to get out of the orifice reducer, maybe a dropper would work better for the Myrrh oil. I plan to use them for various diffuser and roller recipes. They came carefully packaged and intact. The bottles are full, which I appreciate, I have found that some companies don’t fill the bottles all the way. Information is listed on the labels, but are a little hard to read, you may need a magnifying glass. Overall, I have no complaints.
